Invisible doors

There’s a balcony outside my room that I never use. The door is locked. Not that I don’t have the keys. I do.

But no matter the day,no matter the boredom or just any circumstances I won’t use it. The door stays closed.

When our house was being built, I cried for that balcony. It faces the sunrise and my sister’s the sunset.  I was meant to sit there and watch my beautiful sunrise as I write or chill but I don’t use it.

Sometimes life is like that, we forget the beauty, our dreams,we forget our thoughts and live behind an “invisible, impossible” door that is apparently too much work to open.

Allow yourself to dream again, to believe, to go out there and watch the sunrise

Dare to dream again.
